Villa VaubanWorkshop: Travelling with Turner17h00-00h00 (LU, EN, DE, FR) | Location: Espace pédagogiqueFor the Nuit des Musées 2026 at Villa Vauban, children and adults are invited to follow in the footsteps of J. M. W. Turner. Inspired by the landscapes from his travels in Italy and the works in the temporary exhibition, each person will create their own landscape using watercolours and collage. With coloured paper and elements inspired by Turner’s paintings, everyone can use their imagination to create a unique artwork.
This creative workshop invites everyone to discover Turner’s world through the light, landscapes and colours of his work while trying different artistic techniques. Each person will take home their own creation as a personal reminder of the temporary exhibition. -
Villa VaubanStrolling concert with Arthur Possing & Pierre Cocq-Amann20h00, 21h00, 22h00 & 23h00A prominent presence on the Luxembourg music scene, Arthur Possing and Pierre Cocq-Amann share a musical relationship based on deep rapport, mutual listening and spontaneous interaction. Moving between jazz standards and free improvisation, the duo adapts to the atmosphere, acoustics and energy of the venue.

Villa VaubanDJ-Set by Club Sauuce | Location: Park of Villa Vauban20h30-00h30Club Sauuce, the young collective comprising Vespucci and Lopaulso, is responsible for providing the music in the courtyard of the Lëtzebuerg City Museum and in the park of the Villa Vauban during the Nuit des Musées. As organisers and DJs, they bring together local and international artists to create unique soundscapes. Club Sauuce's musical style moves between disco, funk, house, tech house and minimal house, breathing new life into spaces.

Villa VaubanGuided tour of the exhibition "A stroll through art"18h00 (EN), 19h00 (EN), 20h30 (DE), 21h30 (EN), 22h45 (FR), 23h45 (EN)With more than 100 paintings and 14 sculptures, Villa Vauban’s permanent exhibition takes visitors on a journey through three centuries of artistic creation: from the 17th-century Netherlands to Italian dreamscapes and French painting around 1850. In addition to styles, art periods and numerous masterpieces, there are small formats and miniatures to discover, as well as the spectacular acquisitions of Jean-Pierre Pescatore, benefactor of the City of Luxembourg, on the occasion of the auction of King William II of the Netherlands’ collection in 1850. The great diversity of subjects and artistic styles is conveyed at the beginning of the tour in the form of an immersive video projection that transports visitors into the atmosphere of the paintings they will discover on their stroll through art.

Villa VaubanCulinary Night at Villa Vauban17h00-01h00 | Benoît & Claude ViticulteursBenoît & Claude Viticulteurs are a small, family-run winery located in the vineyards of Remich. During the Nuit des Musées, you can find them at the Villa Vauban for a glass of “roude Fiederwäissen”, a first taste of the 2026 wines. Also take pleasure in a culinary time-out in the midst of the cultural richness of this special night.

Villa VaubanCulinary Night at Villa Vauban17h00-01h00 | Chiche!Chiche! is a Lebanese-Syrian restaurant that began as a pop-up in Hollerich and is now based in Limpertsberg, with locations across Luxembourg. It serves generous, multicultural cuisine while supporting refugees and migrants through training and employment. With 53 staff members from 22 countries, Chiche! blends food and social impact. For the Museum Night, Chiche! will serve traditional Syrian sandwiches with falafel and chicken shawarma.

The entry wristband allows access to all seven participating venues. Depending on the crowd, short queues may form in front of some museums. Thank you for your understanding.

- SHUTTLES & TRANSPORTATION

The 7 museums can be explored by foot or – in order to facilitate the nightly tour – with the free shuttle busses that will run throughout the evening between the seven museums. Tram services will be extended especially for the Museum Night.
Benefit also from the free public transport to get to Luxembourg-City, and from the various Night Bus services for your return – offered by multiple municipalities, so that you do not have to rely on your own car. City Night Buses by the City of Luxembourg are available at all stops, except for three ("Amélie", "Stadgronn, Bréck" & "Dräi Eechelen").

The Museum Night is committed to organising a more environmentally responsible event:
- Our communications have gone green! We print climate-neutral on recycled paper. And to further reduce our ecological footprint, the evening's programme is available exclusively online.
- Special shuttle buses! Along with free public transport, special shuttle buses will run between the seven museums throughout the evening. In addition to our beloved historic buses, we introduced 100% electric mini-buses! Take a look at our shuttle timetable. You can also use the free Night Bus services offered by multiple municipalities for a hassle-free trip back home. Further information: mobiliteit.lu
- Eat local and organic food! Discover a culinary offer that is partly local and organic, with vegetarian and vegan options.
- All reusable! This year, the museums are opting exclusively for reusable tableware and will no longer be handing out single-use gadgets.
Want to go the extra mile in supporting us? The museum shops will be open during the Museum Night. Don’t forget to bring your own bags — it’s better for the environment!
